“Camilla Dislikes Harry and Doesn’t Want Charles to Get Stressed” The Rift Deepens Between King Charles and Prince Harry

Sources reveal that Queen Camilla is actively limiting interactions between King Charles and his youngest son, Prince Harry. Her efforts are driven by a desire to protect her husband, who is currently battling cancer, from the stress associated with his estranged relationship with Harry.

“Camilla dislikes Harry and doesn’t want Charles to get stressed while he’s undergoing treatment, so she tries to limit interaction,” a source claimed, as reported by Us Weekly. Despite these efforts, the 75-year-old monarch remains hopeful of reconciling with his son, although he faces significant internal conflict due to the pain Harry has caused to his brother, Prince William, and Camilla herself.

The rift between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family has deepened since he and his wife, Meghan Markle, left their royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California. Harry’s tell-all memoir, “Spare,” released in 2023, further strained relations as it detailed his troubled relationships with his father, Prince William, and Camilla.

In his book, Harry recounted his complex feelings about Camilla, particularly around the time of her marriage to King Charles. He wrote, “I had complex feelings about gaining a stepparent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.” He also expressed a degree of sympathy, acknowledging her difficult position as the “third person within my parents’ marriage.”

The release of Harry’s memoir and the subsequent Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan” reportedly left Camilla furious and heartbroken. “When the docuseries came out, Camilla was furious,” a second source noted. “Then, when ‘Spare’ was released, Camilla was saddened by what was said about her. She was heartbroken and confused.”

Royal expert Christopher Andersen echoed these sentiments, telling Fox News Digital, “The one thing that Charles finds unforgivable is criticism of Camilla. Unfortunately for Harry… he made it clear that he felt she was… the villain in the piece. I don’t think they’ll ever forgive Harry for that.”

The relationship between Prince Harry and King Charles appears to be at a standstill, with no reconciliation in sight. Royal expert Katie Nicholl explained to Entertainment Tonight, “Relations between the Sussexes and Wales remain at an all-time low. I’m told that William and Harry really are not even on speaking terms.”

The strained family dynamics were further highlighted when both Harry and William were invited to the wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, 7th Duke of Westminster. Harry diplomatically declined the invitation, aware of the potential awkwardness his presence might cause.

Adding to the tension, royal biographer Ingrid Seward suggested that Princess Diana would have been proud of Prince William for how he has navigated recent challenges, including his increased responsibilities following Queen Elizabeth II’s death and his support for his wife, Princess Kate, during her cancer treatment.

“William is sensitive, he likes structure and has perseverance. He does not give up easily,” Seward remarked. “His relationship with brother Harry upset him more than he would care to admit. But he found it easier to cut ties rather than allow himself to be continually annoyed.”

The ongoing discord within the royal family has broader implications, particularly concerning King Charles’ relationship with his grandchildren. While Charles maintains a close bond with William’s children, his contact with Harry’s children, Archie and Lilibet, remains minimal.

“It’s left a massive hole in his heart that he’s only spent a few fleeting days with them and then video calls on important days,” an insider explained, noting the significant security and logistical challenges that prevent Archie and Lilibet from spending more time in the UK.

Despite these obstacles, Harry has expressed a desire to mend his relationship with his father. In a February interview with Good Morning America, Harry spoke about visiting his father after his cancer diagnosis, saying, “I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could.”
