Prince Harry, Meghan Markle returning to UK but not for royal family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to return to the UK in the next few months.

It may even be possible that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be spending New Year there.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have time to self-isolate just in time for Meghan’s High Court battle against the Associated Newspapers (AP), which will start on Jan. 11, 2021.

Meghan is, reportedly, testifying in person at the trial.

According to current coronavirus rules, the couple will have to quarantine for fourteen days ahead of their hearing.

News of the couple returning comes after the couple won their lawsuit against a paparazzi.

In July, they filed for an invasion of privacy lawsuit after using drones and zoom cameras to get photos of their son, Archie.

X17, a photo-news agency, then sold the pictures to a German news publication, which spurred the Sussexes to file the lawsuit. Several news agencies were also subpoenaed.

In the end, X17 publicly apologized to the couple, paid their legal fees, and are not allowed to take photos of them ever again.

Meghan Markle is suing the Associated Newspapers (AP), publishers of Mail on Sunday and Mail Online, for “manipulating, harassing, exploiting, and exploiting” her dad, Thomas.

She alleges that the tabloids for the misuse of her private information, infringement of copyright, and breach of Data Protection Act after publishing parts of the letters she hand-wrote to her dad in 2018.

While there, it’s also possible that Queen Elizabeth II will request for Prince Harry’s presence in Windsor Castle, where she currently lives.

The grandmother-grandson duo may talk about their recent actions in the US after palace insiders reportedly warned the Duke for “stepping over the line” when he spoke of US politics.

According to an insider who spoke to The Sun, “Staff at Windsor have been told to prepare for possibility Harry could come back.”

“There are all sorts of issues to speak about – not only his political statements but also his visa situation in the US.”

They added, “Even though he would have to isolate for two weeks, the estate is large enough for talks in a socially-distanced way.”

Royal expert Penny Junor thinks that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have “burnt significant bridges beyond repair.”

She believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex couldn’t be bothered by their decision to leave the royal family and move permanently to the US.

Junor also observed that while the Duke of Sussex could improve his relationship with older brother Prince William, it’s not likely that his wife would ever want to come back to The Firm.

Meghan, who has been vocal about US politics and the importance of voting, couldn’t achieve the kind of change in the world she desires while being a royal family member.

“What she discovered in her brief spell as a working member is the British royal family is no place for someone with political ambition,” Junor told The Mirror.
