Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at ‘breaking point’

Prince Harry’s American dream is reportedly at risk as the controversy surrounding his U.S. visa continues without resolution. The Duke of Sussex, who moved to California alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, after stepping back from royal duties in 2020, finds himself embroiled in a prolonged dispute stemming from his public admission of past drug use.

The revelation of Harry’s previous drug experiences, detailed openly in his 2023 memoir, “Spare,” prompted a conservative think tank, The Heritage Foundation, to aggressively pursue a Freedom of Information request to examine the details of his visa application.

“Harry and Meghan are sick to death of this saga. They can’t believe it’s still dragging on and find it excruciatingly annoying how it always seems to rear its head at the worst possible time,” a source close to the couple told Closer Magazine.

The insider further explained the Sussexes’ frustration, stating, “They’ve cultivated a squeaky clean, wholesome and responsible image and want to appeal to families and ethically-minded professional types.”

The ongoing issue has reportedly reached a critical point, leaving the couple deeply frustrated. “Their patience has reached the boiling point because of this ongoing campaign by the Heritage Foundation, which they feel is ridiculous,” the source added. “The ‘drug scandal’ element is being dragged out in public and Harry is being raked over the coals and branded a liar.”

The Heritage Foundation continues to question whether Prince Harry truthfully disclosed his drug history when applying for his U.S. visa. Although some documents related to Harry’s immigration application were released last week following a court order, significant portions of these records were heavily redacted, fueling further speculation and legal action.

Undeterred, The Heritage Foundation announced plans to initiate a second lawsuit aimed at uncovering additional details of Harry’s immigration records, signaling that the controversy is far from resolved. Despite their efforts to maintain a positive public image, the continuous public scrutiny and the relentless pressure from ongoing legal actions have reportedly pushed the Sussexes to their limits.

According to sources, the prolonged and highly publicized dispute has severely tested their resolve, leaving Harry and Meghan reportedly “at breaking point,” as they struggle to move past the relentless scrutiny associated with Harry’s visa status and past drug admissions.
