Prince Harry and Andrew dubbed ‘The Lost Royals’ in scathing Palace

Prince Andrew and Prince Harry have reportedly earned a sharp nickname from Buckingham Palace staff, underscoring the tensions both royals have faced within the monarchy. The nickname, “Dukes of Hazard,” reflects the controversies surrounding the two princes and their perceived challenges to King Charles III’s reign.

The nickname emerges as King Charles grapples with issues involving his younger brother Andrew and his son Harry. At the center of Andrew’s tensions is his future at Royal Lodge, the Windsor estate he has called home for decades.

Andrew’s controversies, including his ties to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and a Chinese businessman accused of espionage, have strained his standing within the Royal Family. His absence from the traditional Christmas gathering at Sandringham further fueled speculation about his precarious position, reports the Express.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry remains at odds with the monarchy following his departure from royal duties and relocation to the U.S. with Meghan Markle. Harry has publicly aired grievances about his family, notably through his memoir Spare and a series of high-profile interviews. His revelations have only deepened the divide between him and the Royal Family.

The term “Dukes of Hazard” encapsulates the perceived challenges both Andrew and Harry pose to King Charles’s efforts to maintain unity. Speaking on The Royals with Roya and Kate podcast, The Times royal correspondent Kate Mansey explained, “A couple of people mentioned to me that Harry and Andrew are referred to as the ‘Dukes of Hazard’—two difficult dukes who are seen as problems for the King, though Andrew perhaps more so.”

Neither Andrew nor Harry retains the status of working royal, and King Charles is reportedly navigating the situation with care to avoid further familial discord. “His Majesty does not want to exacerbate family tensions further,” a source told The Times. “By nature, he is a unifier, not a divider.”

As the monarchy faces these internal challenges, the nickname underscores the shifting dynamics within the Royal Family and highlights the ongoing struggles to balance tradition, public perception, and personal relationships.
