Prince Harry ‘Aches for the World He Left Behind’ in the UK, Reveals Royal Commentator

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield recently shed light on Prince Harry’s feelings of loneliness as he adjusts to life in the U.S., far from his roots and the life he once knew in the UK. According to Schofield, Harry is “aching for the world he left behind,” a sentiment that has resonated amidst his new lifestyle in Montecito, California. Here, Harry lives with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, away from the intense public scrutiny of royal duties since their departure in 2020.

Harry, who recently celebrated a quiet 40th birthday surrounded only by his immediate family, is reportedly finding the transition challenging. Schofield, speaking on GB News, highlighted the stark contrast between Harry’s vibrant social life in the UK—marked by his time at an all-boys school and festive family gatherings at a castle—and his more subdued celebrations in the U.S. “He experienced something that most people don’t—going away to school and waking up with friends every day, followed by Christmases in a castle filled with cousins,” Schofield reflected.

Despite his upbringing, which was rich in deep, lasting friendships, Harry now finds such relationships harder to forge in his current environment. Schofield captured the essence of Harry’s emotional state with her statement, “I do believe he aches for the world he left behind,” highlighting the sense of loss Harry feels amidst his new life.

However, not everyone sees Harry’s situation through the same lens. Body language expert Darren Stanton offered a contrasting perspective, suggesting that the Duke is actually finding joy in his American life. Observing Harry at a recent charity tennis event, Stanton noted, “Harry showed real expressions of happiness and joy,” pointing out that Harry’s smiles appeared genuine and heartfelt.

These divergent views paint a complex picture of Prince Harry’s adaptation to life outside the royal fold, balancing moments of genuine happiness with a nostalgic longing for the familiar comforts of his past.
