Positive and Negative Effects of Sunbathing

Sunbathing is an activity that involves exposing a person to direct sunlight. Sunbathing has become one of the most desired activities nowadays. People often choose places rich in natural beauty. Suitable for beaches, swimming pools, gardens, parks, etc. We often see people sunbathing. The main purpose of sunbathing is to tan the skin.

As every coin has two sides, sunbathing has both positive and negative effects on human health. We can benefit and benefit from the positive effects of sunbathing only when we are exposed to the sun at the right rate and at the right time. If the rate or timing is wrong, we may have to face the negative effects of sunbathing.

In medicine, sunbathing is the main component of heliotherapy (also called climate therapy) performed by people with immunity, vitamin D deficiency, and psoriasis, and skin cancer. The right amount of sunlight exposure has the same effects as exercise, strength, energy, stress tolerance, and increasing the blood’s ability to absorb and transport oxygen, lowering blood pressure, excessive heart rate, respiratory rate, blood sugar, and lactic acid.

If you have too much cholesterol in your body and you are trying to lower cholesterol levels in your body, sunbathing is the best way to do it. The great thing about sunbathing is that it will slow down the aging process and even make you look five years younger! Thus, it acts as an anti-aging agent that makes you look younger.

Minimal tanning of your skin with light sun exposure will not only make you look better but also protect your skin from sunburn and other skin problems. Mild sunlight also helps keep pimples and acne at bay. However, excessive tanning can damage your skin and lead to serious cancer-related skin problems.

Some people have a tendency to sunbathe excessively without adequate precautions and knowledge. This highlights the negative effects of sunbathing. It leads to serious sunburns caused by the harmful UV rays of the sun. It is known that the main cause of sunburn is exposure to intense sunlight. In addition, excessive exposure to these harmful rays contributes to other adverse effects such as suppression of cell resistance, photoaging and skin cancer.

While sunlight is often a sign of health, it’s also linked to any type of skin cancer caused by harmful radiation. Not all people are equally at risk. Generally, people with white skin are at risk of developing this type of cancer. Results can also be seen in families with a history of skin problems or in families where most members have sensitive skin.

Having too many freckles on the skin shows how sensitive the skin is to the sun. If you are a fair-skinned person and your skin is sensitive to sunlight, do not panic. All you have to do is not bathe in the sun at noon and maybe prefer to take a bath in the morning or evening, in the light sunlight. This can also make your skin less sensitive to sunlight.
