GB News host Patrick Christys Calls Labour’s Handling of Migrant Crisis ‘A Disgrace’
Patrick Christys blasts Labour and the NCA for failing to crack down on human traffickers, sparking a heated TV row over Britain’s asylum system.
GB News host Patrick Christys has taken the gloves off in a fiery on-air broadside aimed squarely at Labour and the National Crime Agency, accusing both of dropping the ball on the UK’s migrant crisis.

The outburst came after fresh figures suggested Labour has dismantled fewer criminal gangs than the Conservatives managed, which Christys called “absolutely crushing for the Labour Government” and “a disgrace.”
He claimed his team had personally given the NCA a dossier of intelligence on multiple human trafficking operations, including exact addresses and voice recordings. Incredibly, he said the material had been ignored. “We have singlehandedly given the NCA details of countless human traffickers, their locations, voice notes and everything,” he told viewers. “What the flipping heck are you doing?”
Christys said he had managed to identify four suspected traffickers himself in just an hour, arguing this proved the criminal networks were operating in plain sight. He then tore into the agency’s recruitment process, questioning whether it had enough hardened police veterans to take on serious organised crime. “I thought they were a load of hard-nosed police officers but you can come straight into it from university. It’s basically a Civil Service position in some instances,” he said.
The GB News presenter accused officialdom of drowning in red tape while crime flourished. “The list of offences is all sorts, sexual assault, GBH, all sorts but for all of this guff, it turns out this lot has smashed fewer gangs than the Tories,” he added.

The broadcast took a more heated turn when political commentator Jonathan Lis joined to defend Britain’s asylum system. “I would not want to throw the baby out of the bathwater and end the asylum system,” Lis said. He acknowledged that some arrivals had committed crimes but warned against collective punishment. “You might have Afghan people who have committed crimes. That’s unacceptable but it’s collective punishment to end the whole system. We owe them gratitude for what they have done.”
Christys shot back without hesitation: “No we don’t.”
Viewers were quick to weigh in. One accused the police of having the wrong priorities, saying officers were now “employed as carers” and spent “so much time escorting protesters” while violent crime went unchecked.
The row adds fuel to a growing public debate over how Britain handles both legal asylum claims and the organised gangs smuggling people across the Channel. With the government under pressure from all sides, Christys’ allegations about ignored intelligence will likely raise fresh questions about whether the UK’s enforcement agencies are up to the task.
