Noreen Naroo-Pucci Appointed Chief Product Officer to Lead Merrell’s Brand Expansion

Merrell, a leading brand in hiking and outdoor footwear, has appointed Noreen Naroo-Pucci as its new chief product officer. This appointment signals the brand’s ambition to expand and evolve into a broader lifestyle brand, catering to a growing market of consumers who seek products that support an active, outdoor-inspired lifestyle—both in their recreational and everyday activities.

“I am thrilled to work with the talented team to create innovative products to empower our consumers,” said Naroo-Pucci, reported by Fashion Network. “Merrell is a brand that understands the evolving outdoor space and is dedicated to building strong, purposeful footwear.”

Naroo-Pucci brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having most recently served as the chief product officer at Mizzen+Main, a menswear brand. Prior to that, she held key positions, including senior vice president of design for menswear at Calvin Klein North America, and spent eleven years at Under Armour as senior creative director and vice president of Global Design Engine.

Merrell’s global brand president, Janice Tennant, praised Naroo-Pucci’s extensive experience, stating, “From her depth of experience working globally across great brands, Noreen’s passion for innovation and elevating design, as well as her commitment to building high-performing teams, she is going to help us continue to modernize the brand in order to attract the next generation of outdoor consumers.”

In addition to her leadership roles, Naroo-Pucci has dedicated her time to teaching at renowned institutions such as MICA at Johns Hopkins University, The New School at Parsons School of Design, and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She also serves on two design school boards in inner-city Baltimore, underscoring her commitment to both innovation and community development.

With Naroo-Pucci at the helm of product development, Merrell is poised to continue building its reputation as a trusted brand that offers functional, high-quality footwear for those who value the outdoors and an active lifestyle.
