Newlywed Shuts Down Trolls Over Shocking Pregnancy Announcement and Viral Wedding Photos
0Newlyweds Lauren Evens and Hannah Kaye, who recently announced they are expecting triplets, have been targeted by online trolls due to Hannah’s youthful appearance. Despite being only two years apart in age—Lauren is 31 and Hannah 29—the couple has faced cruel accusations, with some even claiming Lauren is “kissing a young boy.”
Their story took another turn in October, just a month after their September wedding, when they revealed their upcoming addition to the family, according to the Daily Star. The UK-based couple used reciprocal IVF, with Hannah providing the eggs and Lauren carrying the triplets. The procedure, which cost £8,920, involved traveling to Cyprus for treatment. Against the odds, all three embryos implanted successfully, leaving the couple overjoyed yet apprehensive about further criticism.
Speaking to The US Sun, Lauren shared her frustration with the relentless trolling. “People think I married a schoolboy and am having his children. They are ridiculous and uneducated,” she said, adding, “I know the abuse will only get worse now that I’m pregnant.”
Lauren, who is already a mum to a 10-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, first met Hannah on Tinder two years ago. Their whirlwind romance led to Hannah proposing in January 2024 and their subsequent wedding at a Surrey registry office in September. While their love story should have been celebrated, Lauren revealed the backlash has been overwhelming.
“Some people said it was cute that my 10-year-old son was walking me down the aisle. Others said it was disgusting that I was kissing a young boy,” Lauren explained. “Hannah is a tough nut, but the comments offend me, and they are incredibly hurtful. People think they have the right to call me a predator or a paedophile, and that disgusts me.”
Hannah, who frequently gets carded when buying alcohol, lottery tickets, or even energy drinks, spoke about the hurtful comments they’ve endured online. “The negativity exploded when we uploaded our wedding photos,” she shared. “I’ve grown up with everyone having an opinion about how I look. I just don’t acknowledge the comments; I just block them.”
Despite the abuse, the couple remains focused on their growing family. Lauren concluded, “We’re so excited about the triplets—it’s our miracle. I just wish people would let us live our lives in peace.”
