Meghan Markle turned into ‘500% nightmare’: Prince Harry’s pals

Meghan Markle continues to have a bad reputation even to Prince Harry’s friends.

Over a year since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the U.K. to relocate to the U.S., the couple ripped the royal family with bombshell allegations. This ignited the royal feuds, even more, especially the rift between Prince Harry and Prince William.

Amid all these, the Duke of Sussex’s friends, reportedly, feels worried as Meghan may have been the reason behind the quarrels. While the Duke of Cambridge has been protecting the royal family, his brother defends only his wife.

This caused Prince Harry’s friends to assume that his wife can become a nightmare – in the monarchy and outside of it.

In an article for Daily Mail, royal biographer Robert Lacey said that the royal brothers offer a different point of view.

“Love versus duty. This is what makes it so painful. The friends commiserate with each other over the tragedy they are witnessing, and they frequently discuss how to heal the breach – though with an increasing sense of despair,” Lacey said.

He added that the supporters of the Sussexes witnessed the self-promotion and self-pity Meghan showed. These characteristics, reportedly, infuriated the heir to the throne even more.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s friends already saw it as a sign that the Duchess of Sussex can be a 500 percent nightmare.

Prince Harry hoping to reconcile with his brother and old friends?

It has been publicly known that the royal brothers failed to mend their relationship during Prince Philip’s funeral. Despite that, the Duke of Sussex, reportedly, wants to try fixing his relationships once again.

“I’m told that Harry has been telling friend he would like to reconcile, and is willing to admit some of the missteps he has made,” Lacey wrote.

The new revelation came after Prince Harry jetted back to the U.K. for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue. The event will happen on the same day as the supposed 60th birthday of the late Princess of Wales.

While Prince William and Prince Harry will reunite, their spouses cannot make it. The younger duke already arrived in the U.K ahead of the event to undergo isolation as part of the country’s COVID-19 policy.

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, will be absent due to coronavirus protocols. Meghan, on the other hand, needs to stay in the U.S. to take care of Archie and Lili. The monarchy’s request to have 100-plus attendees were reportedly scrapped.
