Meghan Markle’s Journal: A Potential Weapon or a Sign She’s Moving On

Meghan Markle may have a powerful tool at her disposal — a personal diary she kept during her time with the Royal Family. In a 2022 interview, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she had written a detailed account of her experiences, which she still holds onto today.

Jennie Bond, a former BBC royal correspondent, recently commented on the potential impact of this journal. Jennie Bond, ex-BBC royal correspondent, shared: “It’s more than two years since she gave that interview, and she has steered clear of controversy about the Royal Family since.”

“Obviously the journal she mentioned will remain a potential weapon in her back pocket if she ever feels the need to seek some sort of revenge. But she has behaved with discretion and dignity ever since Oprah and the documentary series.” “I think she is looking forward, not backward, and is moving on with her life. So I don’t think we should be raising false alarms about any potential memoir.”

Despite the tantalizing prospect of a memoir revealing further royal secrets, Bond believes it’s unlikely Meghan will take that path. “I think she is looking forwards, not backward, and is moving on with her life,” Bond said, cautioning against any premature speculation about a potential tell-all book.

While Meghan’s diary may contain sensitive insights into her time as a senior royal, it seems that she is more focused on her future than on revisiting the past. For now, the journal remains in her possession, but it appears she is content to leave it untouched as she moves forward with her life and new ventures.
