Royal Expert Hints at Possible Reconciliation, But Meghan Markle’s Birthday Could Reveal True Intentions Behind Olive Branch

Prince Harry’s 40th birthday has ignited hopes of a potential reconciliation with the Royal Family, as he received well wishes from King Charles and Prince William. While the milestone birthday has been seen as an opportunity for mending the rift, some are questioning the authenticity of the gestures, suggesting time will reveal if these wishes mark a true olive branch.

Former Royal photographer Arthur Edwards expressed optimism, saying, “To me, this latest development suggests warm wishes and maybe a glint of a future kiss and makeup.” He added that recent positive events within the Royal Family, such as Catherine’s announcement of being cancer-free, might be influencing William’s mindset.

“Perhaps William is feeling just maybe this feud should come to an end,” Edwards speculated. However, he noted that goodwill must come from both sides, including California, told The Sun. Edwards also suggested that a genuine reconciliation may become clearer in the coming months, particularly when Meghan Markle’s birthday arrives in August.

“Let’s see what the royals do for Meghan when it is her birthday next August. Then we really will know if this is a genuine olive branch or just a temporary break in hostilities,” he said. Interestingly, the birthday posts for Harry were not signed off with William or Kate’s initials, as is typically the case for messages they write personally, raising further questions about the sincerity of the wishes. Whether this gesture represents a new beginning or merely a pause in the ongoing tensions remains to be seen.
