Meghan Markle Faces Criticism Over ‘Awkward’ Detail in Recent Coffee Ad Cameo

Meghan Markle is under scrutiny after an industry expert noticed an uncomfortable moment during her cameo appearance in a social media video for coffee brand Clevr Blends.

The 42-year-old former royal was seen packing orders and collaborating with the online team in the video shared on the company’s social media platforms.

As the clip concludes, Meghan gives a fist bump to another staff member while the owner, and Meghan’s friend, Grace Mendoza, discusses a “successful year.” Reviews of Meghan’s brief return to acting have been mixed, with GB News hosts Ben Leo and Emily Carver describing the Duchess of Sussex’s cameo as “awkward.”

Royal correspondent Cameron Walker remarked on Meghan’s shift away from being a working royal, noting her focus on Hollywood and social media.

Walker commented on the video, stating, “She’s not mentioned, always in the background, and then does a bit of an awkward fist bump, which doesn’t quite work, and then a bit of a blooper.” Meghan has been a known supporter of the brand, often sending samples to friends, including Oprah Winfrey.
