Meghan Markle ‘Crying’ Over Netflix Ratings Defeat by Beckhams
Meghan Markle is reportedly “crying” over the fact that David and Victoria Beckham’s TV series has surpassed “Harry & Meghan” in the ratings. According to a new report, she is alleging, without any proof, that her former friends have manipulated the figures to undermine her already declining popularity.
Sources claim that Prince Harry’s wife, 42, spiraled into distress after learning that their Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan” is failing to attract viewers. Meanwhile, the four-part series “Beckham” has outperformed it in terms of ratings.
“Meghan’s all over the place. Apparently, she’s been really affected by these bad Netflix ratings and her friends are saying she’s looking to pin the blame on anybody she can think of to validate the theory she and Harry have been sabotaged,” an unnamed source told RadarOnline.
David, 49, and Victoria, 50, were once close friends with Harry and Meghan in Hollywood. However, the friendship reportedly deteriorated due to allegations that the Beckhams leaked information about the Sussexes to the media.
Spies have reported that the Beckhams are once again being blamed, this time for an alleged conspiracy to outdo the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge by achieving higher television ratings.
“It’s completely irrational. The Beckhams have nothing to do with ratings, but the word is Meghan’s convinced they’re conspiring to put them down in order to lift themselves up. The fact that the Beckhams’ ratings are making Meghan and Harry’s efforts look like a laughingstock has got to be a real kick in the teeth,” the insider shared.
An anonymous informant claimed that the tension worsened when David announced his collaboration with King Charles, Prince Harry’s father, to become an ambassador for The King’s Foundation, as reported by The Independent.
“It’s very clear whose side David and Victoria have taken in this ugly battle. They’re not even pretending to play the middle,” the tipster said.
The relationship between the Beckhams and the monarchy is particularly disheartening as Meghan was rumored to be trying to rekindle her friendship with Victoria, who is a fashion expert.
“The word is Meghan was really hoping she and Victoria could become close again. Apparently, Meghan tried to reach out to her not long ago but got nowhere, so this whole situation must sting that much more,” the mole claimed.
The former “Suits” actress, who has been receiving the cold shoulder from her former A-list friends, is at risk of being laughed out of Tinseltown, according to previous unfavorable opinions.
