Meghan Markle made a huge sacrifice to marry Prince Harry, told royal expert

Meghan Markle reportedly gave up a significant opportunity to marry Prince Harry, according to a former friend of the Duchess. Lizzy Cundy, a British TV personality, revealed that before joining the Royal family, Meghan had ambitions to star in an unscripted English reality TV show.

In an interview with OK Magazine, Cundy shared that Meghan was keen on breaking into the English reality TV scene. “She wanted to be on an English Reality TV show,” Cundy said. She recalled Meghan asking her, “Do you know any famous guys? I’m single and I really love English men.”

It appears that Meghan had to forgo this career aspiration when she married Prince Harry. Now, the former actress is focusing on rebranding herself in the United States. She is working on a new lifestyle brand called America Riviera Orchard and developing a cooking show for Netflix.

Recently, royal expert Tom Quinn claimed that Meghan feels ridiculed and frustrated with how her life has turned out, particularly due to the negative criticism she and Harry receive. “There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned – she loves media attention and hates the fact that surveys suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public,” Quinn said.

Quinn also noted that Meghan was deeply affected by the negative reception of her new brand. “Meghan was in tears when the brand launched and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special,” he added.

This insight into Meghan’s sacrifices and ongoing struggles highlights the complexities of her transition from actress to duchess, and now to an American public figure. Despite the glamorous appearance, it underscores the challenges and adjustments she has faced in her personal and professional life.
