Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Christmas Plans Reportedly Revealed After Royal Snub

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to celebrate Christmas at their Montecito home, following reports that they have not been invited to the Royal family’s annual festive gathering at Sandringham. According to Closer Magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will spend the holiday with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, joined by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

The family reportedly plans to make the occasion extra special. “This could be their last Christmas at home,” a source told the publication. “So they will spend it together this year to make it extra special.” The insider added, “Meghan’s mum Doria will join them at home in Montecito, and they’ll ensure the children have a joyful day, despite not being around extended family.”

The couple reportedly turned down an offer to celebrate the holiday with Princess Diana’s family, the Spencers, at Althorp. “They were also invited to spend Christmas with the Spencers at Althorp, but had to turn it down,” the source shared. It appears there has been no invitation from the Royal family for Harry and Meghan to join them at Sandringham.

The source explained, “There hasn’t been an invitation extended to join the royal family at Sandringham this year. It’s not surprising as they didn’t expect an invite, and even if one had been offered, they would likely decline.” This marks yet another year of distance between the Sussexes and the Royal family during the holidays.

Despite this, Harry and Meghan are reportedly focused on creating a memorable Christmas for their young children, emphasizing joy and togetherness at home. The decision to celebrate quietly in Montecito reflects the couple’s evolving relationship with their extended family and their commitment to prioritizing their immediate family’s happiness during the festive season.
