Lorraine Kelly Shocked On-Air as Terrifying Image Flashes on ITV: ‘What Have You Done?’

Lorraine Kelly was left astonished on her ITV show when she was shown an AI-generated image of singer Craig David in an unexpected new look. During the latest episode of her morning show, Lorraine chatted with the celebrated musician about his career and his newest single. As they discussed his achievements, the conversation took an amusing twist.

Lorraine humorously likened Craig to a well-known literary character, saying, “Now look, can I say that you’re a bit like Willy Wonka, distributing chocolate bars to everybody.” The lighthearted comment set the stage for a playful surprise when an AI-generated image of Craig’s face superimposed onto Willy Wonka’s body suddenly appeared on the studio screen.

Visibly startled, Lorraine exclaimed, “Oh, oh my God! What have you done?” Laughing, she added, “Don’t ever get that hairstyle!” Craig, also taken aback, responded with a surprised “wow” before recalling a past project where he had a connection to the character, as reported by The Mirror.

Reminiscing, Craig said, “In the What’s Your Flavour video, I did a whole Willy Wonka sketch. So I was actually playing Willy Wonka because my first album Born To Do It was inspired by Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.”

After a two-year break from music, Craig is back with his new single, In Your Hands. Known for his hits like 7 Days and Fill Me In, he has also released a music video for the song, which features a younger version of himself. Discussing the inspiration behind the track, which reimagines a familiar Christian hymn often sung in schools, he shared with Hits Radio, “In Your Hands is such an important song for me. I wanted to highlight how special we all are, especially when we embrace our inner child—that part of us that holds the true joy and meaning of life.”
