Victoria Taylor, a 34-year-old mum from Malton, North Yorkshire, has now been missing for four days, leaving her family and friends desperate for answers. The last person to see her has spoken out, as the search for the missing mum-of-one intensifies.
Victoria, a care home nurse and mother to a two-year-old daughter was last seen on Monday morning at around 9 a.m. She left her home in Malton and was reportedly heading towards the local library on Commercial Street. However, she never arrived, and no one has seen her since.
A local resident, who briefly encountered Victoria that morning, shared that they smiled and said “Hiya” as she passed by. This person is believed to be the last one to have seen her before she vanished. Victoria’s friends and family describe her disappearance as completely “out of character,” leaving them deeply concerned.

Adding to the mystery, reports surfaced that Victoria’s Instagram account was “active” the day after she went missing. Some speculate that her family might have accessed the account, though it remains unclear. Meanwhile, her fiancé, Matthew Williams, updated his Facebook profile picture to a touching black-and-white selfie of the couple, taken during a happier time. The photo shows Matthew lovingly wrapping his arms around Victoria as they pose in a mirror, reflecting the close bond they shared. The couple had recently returned from their first holiday together in Majorca.

On Tuesday, police released a new image of Victoria from CCTV footage at a BP garage, located about half a mile from the Norton Hive Library & Community Hub. In the footage, she is seen wearing a black puffer jacket, a camouflage-print hat, and blue jeans. This was the last confirmed sighting of her at 11:35 a.m. that morning.
As the search for Victoria continues, police have focused their efforts on the River Derwent, where some of her belongings were found on the riverbank. A large police presence remains in the area, and a Facebook search group has been established to assist with the investigation.
