King Charles Firmly Rejects Prince Harry’s Bid to Return as Part-Time Royal, Insider Reveals

King Charles III, known for his dedication to the monarchy, has reportedly turned down Prince Harry’s offer to return as a part-time working royal. According to a royal aide, the monarch is based on the late Queen Elizabeth II’s decision on the matter.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold revealed the reality of Prince Harry’s future within the royal family, stating that King Charles holds a firm stance. “The King feels similar to his late mother – there’s no half in, half out,” Harrold told GB News.

Harrold went on to explain that for Prince Harry to return to the royal fold, he would need to fully commit to his duties and leave his media work behind. “If Harry does come back, he can’t do his media work and be a royal. It’s not something that they will want to support or endorse or have any sort of connection to,” Harrold explained.

However, reports from those close to Prince Harry suggest that the Duke of Sussex has “no interest” in returning to the UK or resuming his former royal responsibilities. While there have been speculations that Harry might be open to temporarily assisting the royal family, such involvement would come with conditions, including an apology from Prince William before Harry would consider representing the family.

Harrold further shared insights into King Charles’ approach to the situation. “I think the King will, if he was to ask him to come back and support or be involved, he wouldn’t want him dilly-dallying and would want him focused on royal duties,” Harrold stated.

The ongoing uncertainty about Prince Harry’s role in the royal family highlights the firm boundaries King Charles is setting for members of the monarchy, reinforcing the all-or-nothing approach to royal duties.
