King Charles takes a firm stance against Prince Andrew

King Charles is poised to make a decisive move regarding the future of his ‘disgraced’ brother, Prince Andrew, as tensions between the two over the Royal Lodge continue to escalate. Amid the ongoing feud, royal experts are urging the monarch to take a final stance on the matter, with King Charles taking a firm stance against Prince Andrew.

The controversy centers on Prince Andrew’s ability to maintain his current residence at the Royal Lodge, a 30-room estate. Royal commentator Lee Cohen emphasized that King Charles must set a precedent for accountability within the royal family by relocating Andrew to Frogmore Cottage, the former residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Speaking to GB News, Cohen argued that if King Charles were to remove Andrew from the Royal Lodge, it would send a powerful message that no member of the royal family is above reproach. “He has been generous to his brother, supporting him financially,” Cohen said, referring to Charles’s backing of Andrew. “But he doesn’t seem to need a larger house.”

Cohen further explained the importance of this decision for the monarchy’s image. “It’s not mean to evict Prince Andrew,” he stated. “It protects the monarchy’s integrity and shields it from future damage. This move would ensure clarity and focus on the roles of those associated with the institution.”

The expert also highlighted that taking action against Andrew would align privileges with responsibilities and set a critical precedent for accountability. “It would communicate that no member—regardless of their birthright—is beyond reproach,” Cohen added.

As King Charles deliberates over this significant decision, the outcome could have lasting implications for the royal family, particularly in terms of how the public perceives the monarchy’s commitment to upholding its values and integrity.
