Kelly Brook Reveals the Real Reason Her Husband Jeremy Parisi Refused to Propose
Kelly Brook has opened up about her long history of engagements and the surprising reason her husband Jeremy Parisi refused to propose. The model and TV personality, 46, spoke candidly during the latest episode of I’m A Celeb while enduring life in Doomsville, where she and her teammates are stuck with hard bunks and groundsheets after losing a challenge.
During the episode, the conversation turned to proposals when fellow campmate Aitch revealed that a fan once proposed to him at a meet and greet. Kelly asked if he wanted to get married one day, and he replied that he “100%” did. That prompted Kelly to reflect on her own turbulent road to marriage.
“I’d been engaged about five times before I met my husband,” she admitted. She went on to say that Jeremy “never really proposed,” explaining that he had been hesitant. “I think he was petrified in the past, because of all the engagements I’d had, that it was the beginning of the end.”

Kelly said she ultimately suggested marriage herself. Martin Kemp then shared that his wife Shirlie had done something similar after he kept “putting it off.”
Kelly and Jeremy met on Instagram in 2014 after she discovered his videos and followed him. Their relationship grew steadily, and by 2018, she predicted that her next engagement would finally lead to marriage after calling previous ones unmemorable. The couple married in July 2022.
Before finding stability with Jeremy, Kelly’s love life was filled with high-profile relationships and heartbreak. At 18, she began dating actor Jason Statham, who was then early in his career and, as she put it, “skint.” Their engagement faded as his Hollywood success grew.
In 2005, she met Titanic actor Billy Zane on the set of Survival Island. They were together for four years, got engaged, and bought a £1 million farmhouse in Kent, but the relationship ended abruptly.

Kelly later dated rugby star Danny Cipriani, though that relationship was overshadowed by cheating claims. She then moved on with another rugby player, Thom Evans. The two suffered a miscarriage in 2011 and got engaged shortly after, but faced another miscarriage later that year. Their relationship eventually ended when Thom decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
In 2014, Kelly became engaged to Gladiator star David McIntosh, known as Tornado. He proposed after just 12 weeks, but the relationship collapsed after rumours surfaced that he was cheating with his ex, Sarah Harper.
After years of heartbreak, short-lived engagements, and personal loss, Kelly finally found lasting happiness with Jeremy. The couple now share a steady life together, and she says their marriage marks the beginning of a much calmer chapter than the one that came before.
