Keanu Reeves Leaves Fans Speechless on Live TV with Surprising Revelation of His Real Age

BBC’s The One Show left viewers in disbelief during Wednesday’s episode when Hollywood star Keanu Reeves revealed his real age live on air. Known for his roles in the Bill and Ted franchise, The Matrix, and John Wick, the youthful actor stunned both fans and hosts when he casually mentioned that he had just turned 60, according to the Mirror.

Reeves appeared on the iconic red sofa alongside author China Miéville to promote their new novel, The Book of Elsewhere. While the conversation focused on their collaboration, it was Keanu’s unexpected revelation that caught everyone off guard. During a discussion about his recent milestones, Reeves dropped the bombshell: “Well, I’ve turned 60 this year.”

Host Alex Jones, visibly shocked, turned to the actor and exclaimed, “Did you? You cannot be 60.” Keanu simply confirmed, “Yes, I am 60 years old.” Alex, still in disbelief, responded, “Wow,” leaving co-host Gabby Logan equally speechless.

Fans at home were just as stunned, with many flocking to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their amazement at Keanu’s youthful appearance. According to the Express, one viewer wrote, “Keanu Reeves is 60? #TheOneShow.” Another chimed in, “Keanu Reeves, one of the good guys. How is he 60?? #TheOneShow.”

A third fan couldn’t believe their eyes, saying, “OMG how can #KeanuReeves look this gorgeous at 60? The man is timeless #TheOneShow.” Others echoed the sentiment, with one fan writing, “Wait, Keanu 60? He doesn’t look like it #TheOneShow,” while another added, “Wow, Keanu does not look 60 #TheOneShow.”

One viewer, who shared Keanu’s birth year, humorously commented, “Whenever I feel old, I look at the divine Keanu. We are the same age (’64 babies) and are younger than Pitt, Clooney, Depp, and Cruise. Age is just a number, and Keanu and I are really cool despite being 60. #TheOneShow.”

Later in the episode, Reeves reflected on reuniting with his Speed co-star Sandra Bullock to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the action film. “It was so nice,” he said. “Sandra Bullock and I get along so well, and it’s always nice to see her, so it was nice to hang out for a little bit.”

Gabby Logan playfully teased Keanu about the pair having a mutual crush during the filming of Speed. “Did you guys discover later that you could have got on better because you had a little crush on each other on set, but didn’t find out until later?” Keanu confirmed with a laugh, “Oh yes. We were very professional,” prompting everyone to burst out laughing.
