Katie Price Sparks Speculation After Posting Photo of Twin Babies Amid IVF Journey

Katie Price left her followers puzzled after sharing a picture of twin babies on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday. The 46-year-old former glamour model posted the image just as anticipation grows for her upcoming Channel 4 documentary about her IVF journey. The photo showed two newborns—one in a pink romper and the other in grey—with Katie’s hand resting gently on them, although their faces were not revealed.

It remains unclear who the babies are, but they are not her sister Sophie’s, who announced in July that she is expecting a single baby girl. Katie has been open about her desire to have another child, recently stating, “It’s going to happen one way or another”, via the Mirror. The mother of five has faced a long and challenging fertility journey, which included three unsuccessful rounds of IVF with her former boyfriend Carl Woods before their split in late 2023. Now, she dreams of welcoming a child with her new partner, Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater.

As Katie continues her quest to expand her family, her previous efforts to conceive with Carl Woods will soon be shared with viewers in an upcoming documentary titled Katie Price: Making Babies, which Channel 4 has confirmed will air in March. The fly-on-the-wall documentary will explore the emotional and heartbreaking nature of Katie’s IVF journey. Katie has admitted that the experience was so painful that she “can’t” watch the documentary herself, and it has reportedly been traumatic for Carl as well.

According to a source, Carl is unhappy about the documentary being aired, as it was filmed when the couple was still together and trying for a baby. “Carl doesn’t want it aired—it would bring back hurtful memories for him and open up a can of worms and demons he’s worked hard to get rid of. He’s closed that chapter with Katie,” the source told OK!.

Back when the couple was happy, Carl expressed his desire to start a family with Katie. In 2021, he told Good Morning Britain, “I would love children of my own,” despite previously vowing never to date someone with kids. However, since their bitter breakup, his perspective has changed. In a recent interview, Carl said, “I don’t think she cares who she has a baby with, as long as she gets a baby.”

The documentary is expected to be an emotional and raw look into the struggles of IVF, especially for women in their forties. A source revealed, “Katie is determined to show the real side of IVF and how it has been a deeply personal struggle for her.” Katie herself has expressed her continued hope for more children, telling Olivia Attwood on her podcast, “It’s going to happen one way or another. I don’t know how, but I’m not giving up.”
