Kate Middleton is said to have played a key role in extending an olive branch to Prince Harry on his 40th birthday, convincing Prince William and the Royal Family to publicly acknowledge the Duke of Sussex despite their ongoing estrangement.

According to Daily Express., the Princess of Wales orchestrated a heartfelt birthday message for Harry after noticing signs that he was feeling “homesick.” The message, shared by the Royal Family on social media, was reportedly part of Kate’s efforts to bridge the growing divide between Harry and his family.

An insider revealed, “Kate was very much the driving force behind Harry’s birthday wishes, as she slowly makes good on her vow to restore some kind of peace and forgiveness between the estranged royal and his family before it’s too late.”

The source continued, “She told William in no uncertain terms that this is not the time for resentment. They needed to show the world that love and family are central to their values, but more importantly, she wanted Harry to feel that sentiment on his big day.”

In addition to the public birthday wishes, Kate reportedly went the extra mile by ensuring Harry received a personal birthday phone call and a special gift. “It meant the world to Harry that the royals, as well as the Waleses, extended this olive branch on social media,” the source added. “Kate made a point to call him and send a thoughtful gift his way as well.”
