Josie Gibson Stuns Fans with Six-Stone Weight Loss, Credits Cutting Sugar and New Diet Approach

TV personality Josie Gibson has amazed fans with her impressive six-stone weight loss, a transformation she attributes to a major shift in her diet. Since giving birth to her son in 2018, the This Morning presenter has embraced a healthier lifestyle, inspiring fans with her dedication and dramatic results.

Josie’s journey began after a holiday photo made her realize she had reached a size 18 and weighed over 16 stone. Determined to change, she adopted a disciplined approach, incorporating regular exercise and mindful eating into her routine. However, the biggest breakthrough came when she decided to completely eliminate refined sugar from her diet, relying solely on natural sugars found in fruits, reported by the Express.

Cutting out sugar wasn’t easy for Josie, who admits she had been unknowingly dependent on it for 20 years. Nevertheless, the commitment paid off, and she slimmed down to a healthy 10 stone. To help her stay on track, she also followed a structured eating plan called Do The Unthinkable, which allows for a “cheat meal” once a week. Josie shared that she uses this cautiously, saying, “I’d have my one cheat meal and that was it,” encouraging others not to let an entire day of overindulgence set back their progress.

Josie also adopted intermittent fasting, a technique she believes has helped with portion control and reducing bloating. She follows an eight-hour eating window, starting her day with breakfast around 8 or 9 a.m. and finishing her final meal by 4 p.m., giving her body a 16-hour fasting period to fully digest her meals.

As a busy mum and This Morning host, Josie acknowledges the challenges of staying active. However, she emphasizes the importance of dedicating at least 30 minutes daily to exercise. “The hardest part is thinking about doing it,” she admitted, noting that once she starts a workout, she never regrets it.

Josie’s weight loss journey isn’t about extreme restrictions but finding a sustainable, balanced approach. She encourages new mums to be kind to themselves, emphasizing that they shouldn’t rush into a workout or diet routine immediately after having a baby. “Do it when you’re good and ready,” she advises, adding that she waited until her son Reggie was three months old before starting her new routine.

Josie’s inspiring transformation serves as a reminder of the power of small, consistent changes and the importance of taking a gentle, sustainable approach to health and wellness.
