Jeremy Clarkson’s Wild Love Life: Furious Exes, Affair Scandals, and a Shocking ‘Nonsense’ Injunction!

Jeremy Clarkson, the iconic host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, has led a complex romantic life filled with ups and downs, according to the Express. Now 64, he has been in a steady relationship for seven years with actress and model Lisa Hogan, 51, who also appears on his TV series Clarkson’s Farm. However, the road to happiness hasn’t always been smooth for the former Top Gear star.

Clarkson’s first marriage was to Alex Hall in 1989, but it ended abruptly two years later when she left him for a friend. Reflecting on her decision, Alex confessed in a 2011 interview with The Telegraph:
“Leaving Jeremy was the biggest mistake of my life. I still love him, I always have, but I believed that if you make your bed you’ve got to lie in it”, reports the Mirror.

In 1993, Clarkson married Frances Cain, his manager, and the couple had three children: Emily, Finlo, and Katya. However, in 1999, Alex alleged that she and Clarkson had engaged in a decade-long affair, which Clarkson strongly denied. He initially sought a High Court injunction, accusing Alex of blackmailing him for £300,000—a claim she staunchly refuted.

After years of legal battles, Clarkson publicly expressed regret about pursuing the injunction, calling it a mistake. “Injunctions are a complete nonsense,” he admitted. “With Twitter and Facebook in play, you’re not really shielded anymore. If I win, it’s blasted across social media anyway, and if I lose, I’m left footing a massive legal bill. I look back in regret to the day I was counseled to get one.”

Clarkson’s marriage to Frances ended in 2014, amidst reports of him becoming close to his PA, Phillipa Sage. Their relationship lasted until 2017 when he began dating Lisa Hogan. Phillipa later shared her heartbreak, revealing, “He told me, ‘I was born for you,’ and asked me to stay the night, but days later, I saw him with Lisa.”

Lisa, now Clarkson’s long-term partner, has made it clear she has no plans to walk down the aisle. Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she said: “Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan.” Despite his tumultuous romantic history, Clarkson seems to have found stability with Lisa, as they enjoy life together at his Diddly Squat Farm.
