Helen Flanagan Regrets ‘Shouting’ at Daughter as She Opens Up About Heartbreaking Co-Parenting Struggles

Helen Flanagan recently shared an emotional post on Instagram, opening up about the challenges of co-parenting her three children with her ex-fiancé, footballer Scott Sinclair. The former couple shares daughters Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and son Charlie, three. Helen admitted feeling guilty after her children left to spend time with Scott, reflecting on moments of impatience and stress.

Posting a picture of herself holding her eldest daughter Matilda, Helen wrote: “Miss my princess [pink heart emoji] feel bad was such a stress head before she left x. Do any other co-parenting mummies feel me? As soon as they are at their daddy’s… I think I should have been more patient then… I shouldn’t have shouted then… but parenting is so hard. Wouldn’t change it for the world though, and then mix in a load of hormones from the both of us.”

Despite their split in 2022 after 13 years together, Helen and Scott have been co-parenting amicably. Earlier this month, they even took Matilda to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland together, putting on a united front for their children during the festive season.

Helen has since moved on and found love with her boyfriend, former footballer Robbie Talbot. The couple, who began dating earlier this year, went public with their relationship during her appearance on Celebs Go Dating in August. Robbie, who has two daughters, Sophia, 14, and Carina, 10, from a previous relationship, has seamlessly blended into Helen’s family.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Helen praised Robbie’s role as a father and his bond with her children: “Robbie has his kids four times a week, which for me is a huge green flag. He’s a great daddy. And our kids all get along so well. Carina and Matilda are the same age and are so cute together, and I consider myself a friend to Sophia, we have great chats.

For me, the most romantic thing Robbie could do is be kind to my kids. e tucks them up at night and reads them bedtime stories. To me, that means so much more than flowers or chocolates.” Helen and Robbie’s relationship began in February when they met at a restaurant in Alderley Edge. Reflecting on their connection, Helen revealed on Celebs Go Dating: “My feelings have just got stronger and more intense.

I actually could see something with this guy at home being something really quite lovely. I think I am in love with him.” Helen’s journey highlights the challenges of co-parenting and finding love after heartbreak, showing her resilience as a mother and partner.
