Harvey’s Emotional Christmas Wish for Katie Price Will Melt Your Heart
Katie Price shared a touching message from her eldest son, Harvey Price, urging her to be home for Christmas. The 46-year-old took to social media to post the heartfelt text from 22-year-old Harvey, along with photos of their loving bond.
In his endearing message, Harvey wrote: “Mummy I am miss you for a lot of cuddles, kisses on the lips and kisses on your full head in warm cosy bed.” He continued: “Because I am really need you a lot at Christmas please mummy to make Harvey happy this Christmas.”
Harvey, who also sent a drawing of himself kissing his mum adorned with colorful doodles, is Katie’s eldest child. He was fathered by former footballer Dwight Yorke and was born with Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic condition. He also has autism and impaired vision, reported Coventry Telegraph.
Earlier this year, Katie revealed on her podcast that Harvey has been struggling with a new health issue involving painful “popping” sensations in his ears, reports Birmingham Live. The condition, which has been ongoing for over a year, has caused him significant distress and impacted his college experience.
“Basically, Harvey’s had this ear problem and he’s been going to the specialist for a year and a half,” Katie said. “His ear keeps popping and that’s affected his year at college, learning and that, because he cries.”
To address the issue, Katie consulted a private healthcare professional, who suggested fitting grommets in Harvey’s ears to alleviate the discomfort. “They want to put grommets in his ears and basically put a hole in it to stop the popping. So it releases something for him, which will stop that,” she explained.
Speaking to her sister Sophie, Katie described how agonizing it has been to witness Harvey’s pain. “You’ve seen it, he’s in agony with it. It’s so frustrating when he’s in pain and there’s nothing I can do.”
Katie, who is a mother of five, has always been open about the challenges and joys of raising Harvey. His poignant plea for Christmas reminds fans of their close bond and Harvey’s heartfelt desire for family togetherness during the holidays. For Katie, balancing her commitments with her children’s needs continues to be her top priority.
