Prince Harry Celebrates Amid Backlash as Polo Friend Calls It an ‘Honor’ to Work with Him

Prince Harry is feeling uplifted as he receives praise from a close friend, despite facing criticism over his upcoming polo documentary series. The Duke of Sussex has reportedly left some fans and Netflix officials disappointed due to his limited screen presence in the highly anticipated project. However, a supportive voice has emerged, giving Harry a reason to celebrate.

Harry’s long-time friend and professional polo player, Nacho Figueras, who is also featured in the docuseries, expressed admiration for the Duke’s commitment and effort. In an interview with People magazine, Nacho shared his excitement about working with Harry on the series. “Look, to me, it’s an honor to do anything with him. He’s a dear friend. This is more his project than it is mine. It’s an honor to know that I was able to help,” he said.

Nacho emphasized that the show is not centered on him or Harry, highlighting their collaborative efforts. “And the show is not about me. It’s not about him… So we’ve been working very hard on it and we’re very excited about the outcome,” he added.

For those unfamiliar, the polo docuseries is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in December 2024. While reports indicate that Harry’s minimal on-screen role has caused some disappointment, Nacho’s positive remarks have lifted the Duke’s spirits. Harry, according to insiders, is now feeling relaxed and in a celebratory mood, buoyed by his friend’s encouraging words.

The supportive comments come at a crucial time for Harry, who has been navigating professional challenges alongside his personal life. Notably, the Duke’s recent work on the docuseries arrives amid his professional separation from his wife, Meghan Markle.

As Harry continues to balance his commitments, the praise from his trusted friend serves as a reminder of the Duke’s dedication to his projects and the positive impact he still holds within his circle. With the docuseries set to debut later this year, fans and critics alike will have the chance to see the results of Harry and Nacho’s hard work.
