Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Could Win Back UK with Simple Move, Says Royal Expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have an opportunity to mend their public image in the UK by adopting a more transparent approach to their personal challenges, according to PR expert Lynn Carratt. Following a dip in their popularity, as evidenced by recent YouGov polls, especially after the announcement of Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis, Carratt suggests that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex need to reconnect with the British public to improve their standing.

Carratt advises that by sharing more about their daily struggles, particularly those related to balancing work and family life, Harry and Meghan could become more relatable. “To become more relatable to the British public, they could become more open about their everyday struggles and show themselves as working parents facing the same challenges as others would also help,” Carratt explained to The Mirror.

She emphasized the need for authenticity over maintaining a “constantly polished image,” suggesting that this could foster a stronger connection with the public. Carratt also noted that the Sussexes are focusing on projects that highlight their passions rather than their royal past, which might present a new side of the couple to the public.

Furthermore, the pair is reported to be consulting with a new PR adviser, aiming to enhance their public relations strategy. Carratt highlighted the importance of a PR approach that spans both the UK and the USA, ensuring the couple’s appeal on both sides of the Atlantic.

This strategic shift in public relations could potentially pave the way for a successful return to the UK for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, should they choose to reintegrate into royal life or simply improve their public perception.
