Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Reignite Rift with Prince William, Leaving Him “Furious”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly left Prince William “furious” after reigniting tensions with Kate Middleton, according to a report by the Daily Beast. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have deliberately “irritated” the Prince and Princess of Wales during a particularly challenging time for the royal family.

The tensions resurfaced after Harry and Meghan sent warm greetings to Kate Middleton following her announcement of a cancer diagnosis in March. However, the couple referred to the future Queen of England as “Kate” in their get-well-soon card, despite her preference to be called “Catherine.”

According to a source, “William takes offense at people calling Catherine ‘Kate’ because she has asked to be known as Catherine.” The source added, “Of course, it’s an utterly trivial thing, but those of us who know William know that it is one of the things that pushes his buttons. Pushing his buttons while he was going through his wife’s cancer seemed an entirely unnecessary and deliberate irritation.”

A close friend of the royal couple described Harry and Meghan’s actions as “bloody rude,” especially given the circumstances of Kate’s health battle. The report suggests that if Harry and Meghan were truly serious about mending their strained relationship with the royal family, “a good first step would be to call her Catherine.”

This incident has further strained the relationship between the two royal couples, as William and Kate navigate this difficult time. The use of the name “Kate” instead of “Catherine” may seem minor, but it has clearly struck a nerve with Prince William, deepening the rift between the brothers and their families.
