Find The Perfect Pair Of Jeans For You

Jeans are the ideal casual clothing for any woman. You can wear them in so many ways and for so many different occasions. However, sometimes you may notice that a pair of jeans doesn’t seem to suit you.

The simple reason for this is that you are wearing a pair that doesn’t suit your body type. Not all types of jeans suit everyone. While some tend to look great on some women, other pairs look horrific on the same women.

These are a few tips to help you pick the perfect pair of jeans to suit your body type.

High rise

Just as the name suggests, high-rise jeans are jeans that sit slightly higher than your waistline. High-rise jeans add length to your legs. They really complement those women whose upper body is longer than the lower body. But if you already have long legs, then avoid these as they will make your torso appear really short in comparison to your legs.

Low slung

Low-slung or low-rise jeans are jeans that have a low waist. They tend to look really sexy on those who are blessed with great abs. If you want your torso to appear longer than your legs, then jeans with a low slung with doing the magic. However, those with short legs, avoid low waist jeans at all costs, as they will make your legs appear shorter.

Straight cut

Straight cut jeans are basically jeans where the circumference of the jeans, at the hip, is almost the same towards the end. As stylish as these jeans are, they don’t suit all body types. If you are fat on your lower body, straight cuts will make your body appear shapeless. However, they look really good on slim people. If you are short, straight cuts can fake height and make you appear taller than you really are.

Bell bottom

Bell bottoms, in trend during the 70s, continue to cast their magic even today. They are extremely wide-legged pants, are tight at the hips, and very loose below the knee. The reason why bell bottoms are better than any other type of jeans is, they look great on any body type.

Skinny jeans are also known as ice-cream cone pants, as they are shaped in the form of an inverted ice-cream cone, the bottom being narrow with a wide waist. These jeans are the best friend for any woman because they will look great on you, no matter what your body type. If you want to add volume, simply wear lighter-colored jeans, or else stick to darker hues.

Flare cut

This denim is back straight from the 70s. These jeans flare at the bottom, thus, giving a lot of room to the ankle. The best part about them is that they just never seem to go out of style. They must be religiously avoided by those who are short and those who are really skinny. However, if you are blessed with a good height, flare cuts will look absolutely grand on your body.

Boot cut

Boot cut is similar to flare cut, just that it is less wide at the bottom. It only gives enough room at the bottom to wear boots. Boot cuts can work like magic for those who are heavy on the lower body. They even look great on tall people. But, avoid boot cuts if you are on the shorter side.

Ultra-low rise

They are just like low-rise jeans, but just as the name suggests, they rest a little lower on your waist than low rises. They are mostly worn by women to show off their navel. They suit tall and slim women. However, if you don’t have a waist that you can brag about, stay away from these.
