Tribute to ‘Women Who Leave’: Final Post of Crossbow Attack Victim Revealed
0Louise Hunt, 25, was killed alongside her sister Hannah, 28, and their mother Carol in a fatal crossbow attack at their Bushey home. Louise’s last social media post, made less than a week before her death, paid tribute to “women who leave,” highlighting the strength and self-love required to break ties.
The tragic incident involved 26-year-old Kyle Clifford, who was found in a cemetery in Enfield, north London, after a massive manhunt. Clifford is currently receiving medical treatment. The shocking event has left the community in mourning and friends in disbelief.
Rohit Mitra, a close friend of Louise, described her as “one of the loveliest girls I knew,” adding, “She always had a smile and was very positive and hardworking.” Louise ran a dog grooming business from home, and tributes from customers poured in on the company’s Facebook page. One customer wrote, “You were a beautiful girl inside and out, always showed kindness and love,” and mentioned how she was adored by “every dog that came to your salon.”
In her final post on X (formerly Twitter), Louise reposted a message that read, “I admire women who leave. It takes A LOT of strength to break a tie. It takes A LOT of self-love to choose yourself.” This poignant message has resonated deeply with those who knew her.
Hannah, Louise’s older sister, ran her own beauty business and had recently posted on social media about being “busy with clients every day.” Her colleagues at The Anti-Ageing Clinic paid tribute to her on Facebook, calling her a “fantastic therapist” whose “clients loved her.”
A memorial service was held in Bushey on Thursday morning, where friends of Carol, Louise, and Hannah gathered to mourn. Dionne Smith, Abigail Phillips, and Lea Holloway, close friends of Carol, expressed their grief, saying, “She was a lovely, lovely person. We can’t believe what happened. We were a four, and now there’s only three. It doesn’t seem real.”
Ms. Holloway added her sympathy for the Hunts’ surviving daughter and her father John, a Sky Sports Racing commentator. “I can’t imagine what it would be like,” she said. “They were making their way through life and their lives have been taken too soon. It’s the thing of nightmares.”
As the investigation continues, police are conducting further searches of a house in Enfield. Meanwhile, the community remains in shock, grappling with the devastating loss of three cherished individuals.
