Grieving Dad Slams Kyle Clifford and Brother as ‘Both Evil’ After Teen’s Tragic Death

The father of a young man murdered by Kyle Clifford’s brother has spoken out, describing the siblings as “evil” and saying they should never be freed. Bradley Clifford, Kyle’s older brother, killed 18-year-old Soban Khan in 2017 in a brutal attack. He deliberately ran him down while he was riding on the back of a scooter, then got out of his car and beat him as he lay dying on the street.
Seven years later, Kyle, now 26, committed his horrific crimes—murdering his ex-girlfriend Louise Hunt, 25, her sister Hannah, 28, and their mother Carol, 61, at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire. He used a crossbow to kill Louise and Hannah and a knife to attack their mother. Chillingly, before carrying out the killings, Kyle had phoned his brother in prison to tell him he had bought a crossbow, reported Metro.co.uk.
Now, after Kyle was sentenced to a whole-life prison term at Cambridge Crown Court earlier this week, Soban’s father, Najam Khan, has shared his devastation at seeing another family torn apart by the Clifford brothers.
Speaking to MailOnline, he said: “Our whole family were very, very upset by this. We hate these brothers over what happened.” He described them as “evil men who the public will need protecting from forever.” He added: “My son was innocent when he was murdered, and now another three innocent people have been murdered too.”
During Bradley’s trial at the Old Bailey, the court heard that he had been driving his £35,000 Ford Mustang near a bar in Enfield when he spotted Soban and his friend Jahshua Francis, then 19, on a scooter. Bradley claimed Soban threw a bottle at his car—something Mr Khan says never happened.
What is certain is that Bradley chased after them, crashed into them, and sent both men flying onto the tarmac. Jahshua survived with injuries, but Soban died. Shockingly, Bradley then ran over to Soban and repeatedly punched and kicked him as he lay motionless.
Before the attack, Bradley had sent messages boasting about wanting to hurt anyone who messed with his car, even saying he would put a knife down their throats and “rain hell” on them.
Soban had just finished his A-levels and was about to start university. His father described him as a “bright” and “very good boy” who was popular, talented in sports, and had dreams of starting his own business. His death has devastated his family—Mr Khan has suffered three heart attacks since losing his son, and his wife has given up her job and now spends her days praying at Soban’s grave.
Mr Khan also believes Bradley should have warned police that Kyle had bought a crossbow. Instead, the court heard that Louise had broken up with Kyle partly because he did not see Soban’s murder as “horrendous” and even found his family’s violence amusing.
Bradley, now 30, was sentenced to at least 23 years in prison, but Mr Khan revealed that he is already trying to get his sentence reduced. He fears for his family’s safety if Bradley is ever released and insists the police should monitor the Clifford brothers “forever” to ensure they can never harm anyone again.
