The fatal incident occurred late on Saturday night at around 11:15 pm in a flat in Aberdeen, Scotland. Emergency services responded to the scene, but Michelle had sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead on-site. The dog, believed to be an American Bulldog, has since been destroyed.

According to the Daily Record, In a heartfelt statement released through Police Scotland, Michelle’s family said: “We are devastated by the loss of Michelle. She was a much-loved mother, daughter, and friend to many and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. We would like to ask our privacy is respected and allow us to grieve at this very difficult time.”

Michelle, whose photograph was shared publicly for the first time, is being remembered as a cherished family member and friend whose passing has left an unfillable void.
