New Epstein emails reveal Andrew entertained Epstein and four women at Buckingham Palace

Paedophile Jeffrey Epstein took a young Romanian model to a private dinner at Buckingham Palace with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, The Mail on Sunday reports.

Newly revealed emails show Andrew hosted Epstein and four women at the Palace while Queen Elizabeth was away at Balmoral. The group reportedly included a woman from Bucharest in her early 20s, as well as another woman from Russia.

Epstein described the Romanian woman as ‘very cute’ and later told her she had been ‘perfect’. He also claimed Andrew thought she was ‘beautiful’, adding: ‘No man looks at your clothes, they see through them.’

In what appears to be a reference to the evening, Epstein later emailed Andrew saying: ‘Great fun, more later’, to which the then Prince reportedly replied: ‘Yes please!’

It was unclear last night whether the Romanian woman was one of Epstein’s sex abuse victims, but the revelation has intensified calls for the Metropolitan Police to reopen its investigation into Andrew. It has also raised further questions about what royal staff may have known about Epstein’s access to royal residences and his network of young women.

Royal author Andrew Lownie said: ‘We have lots of stories now of women being taken to Andrew, and I think there are strong grounds for the Met to reopen their case. ‘The Palace does have visitor logs and it needs to launch its own investigation into security at Royal palaces and whether the law was broken.

‘It should be passing this information to law enforcement.’ The fallout from the Epstein Files continued yesterday, widening to include political figures such as former minister and ambassador Peter Mandelson. The report says Mandelson’s alleged links to Epstein have now come under growing scrutiny.

In a day of further political turbulence: Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Mandelson’s emails allegedly leaking confidential government plans to Epstein could constitute a ‘crime’ and was ‘a betrayal of everything we stand for as a country’.

Labour MPs said Sir Keir Starmer should step aside in favour of a caretaker Prime Minister until a leadership contest in the summer; Sir Keir’s chief of staff, Morgan McSweeney, is reportedly close to quitting, while Cabinet Secretary Sir Chris Wormald could also resign.

A corporate financial crime lawyer visited Mandelson’s £12 million London home as detectives concluded searches of two of his properties. Claims emerged that MI6 was warned that Mandelson could pose a security risk due to alleged connections to Russian intelligence.

It was also reported that Mandelson secretly tried to help Epstein stop an MoS investigation into Epstein’s friendship with Andrew. Files released by the US Department of Justice last weekend reportedly suggested Andrew arranged an intimate dinner with Epstein and three women, identified only as Sarah, Sue and Vera, at Buckingham Palace in September 2010.

One of the women was said to be a Russian model. Andrew reportedly promised ‘lots of privacy’ to Epstein, despite the financier having been released just over a year earlier from an 18-month prison sentence for soliciting a minor.

However, The Mail on Sunday says it has now found additional documents suggesting a fourth woman was added to the guest list that evening. According to emails, Epstein wrote to Andrew at 6.41 pm on September 27, 2010, asking him to ‘add one more’, describing her as: ‘Romanian, very cute.’ Andrew replied: ‘No problem.

The woman reportedly met Epstein at socialite Ghislaine Maxwell’s mews house in Belgravia before being driven to Buckingham Palace. Maxwell’s former home is the same location where Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre has alleged she had sex with Andrew in 2001, claims he has repeatedly denied.

The documents do not clarify what occurred during the evening, but the following morning, Epstein, then 57, reportedly emailed Andrew saying: ‘Great fun.’ The Romanian woman later thanked Epstein, describing the visit as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime experience’.

Epstein reportedly responded by recalling that she had nearly declined the invitation because she disliked the jeans she was wearing. He then wrote: ‘You were perfect and Andrew thought you beautiful. No man looks at your clothes; they see through them.’

The woman, whom the MoS has not named, did not respond this weekend when asked whether she was a victim of Epstein. Buckingham Palace declined to comment, and Andrew did not respond.

The report comes after Thames Valley Police said it would review an allegation that Epstein sent a woman to the UK to have sex with Andrew at Royal Lodge, his former home in Windsor. If confirmed, it would be the first time an Epstein victim has claimed a sexual encounter took place inside a royal residence.

The Mail on Sunday also reports that the Romanian woman entered Epstein’s circle in 2008 while studying in Bucharest, the same year he was jailed for procuring a minor for prostitution. Emails reportedly show she visited him in Florida and Paris, and that he may have paid her rent and dental bills.

In May 2010, after she moved to the UK, Epstein allegedly helped her secure work through British businessman Lyndon Lea. Epstein described her to Lea as a ‘good friend, former high fashion model from Romania, business school degree, anxious to start a real job… I’m sure she will excel.

Lea later told Epstein he had arranged a paid internship in London, but did not respond to a request for comment. The report notes Epstein often used gifts and career support to groom young women before becoming increasingly controlling.

In one message, Epstein reportedly demanded that the Romanian woman write to him immediately about how much she missed him. In October 2010, after her Buckingham Palace visit, he allegedly criticised her for ignoring his advice, writing: ‘I have been there for you for over two years… You have followed [your] own path, in contrast to my strong suggestions.’

He continued: ‘Like our night at the Palace, it was easy, you were perfect, and no one cared about your clothes. I will help you AFTER and only AFTER you start helping yourself.’ On Friday, Met Police detectives investigating allegations of misconduct in public office raided Peter Mandelson’s two homes.

Financial crime lawyer Adrian Darbishire KC reportedly visited Mandelson’s London property for 90 minutes on Saturday. Meanwhile, Ghislaine Maxwell, currently jailed for aiding Epstein’s crimes, is expected to testify before Congress tomorrow via video. However, she is expected to remain silent to avoid self-incrimination.
