The footage shows Hughes waiting outside the store early Monday morning, leaning against the shutter. To her astonishment, her coat becomes entangled, and as the shutter ascends, she is hoisted into the air, legs flailing, as she tries to grasp onto a nearby bin and her purple wheelie shopping bag for support.

The store staff, alerted by Hughes’ calls for help, promptly lowered the shutter. One quick-thinking employee rushed to assist Hughes, helping her disentangle from the awkward predicament. Remarkably, the video of this incident has captivated audiences on TikTok, amassing over 1.9 million views, turning Hughes into an unexpected internet sensation.
