Horror as 27-Year-Old Mum Mauled to Death by Starving Pack of Dogs While Neighbors Hear Her Screams

Patricia Masithela, 27, tragically lost her life in a horrific dog attack while visiting a friend in Latina, a town in Italy’s Lazio region. The young mother had gone to a derelict villa in the early hours of Monday morning, unaware of the danger that awaited her.

Reportedly, Patricia was there to meet a male friend, only to discover he was not home. Authorities believe the property belonged to a 40-year-old man with whom Patricia had previously been in a relationship. The house itself was in a neglected, uninhabitable state and had been seized by investigators.

At approximately 3 a.m., neighbors were startled by harrowing screams emanating from the property. Alarmed, they called for help, leading to a dramatic rescue attempt. Patricia had been brutally attacked by a pack of vicious, malnourished dogs known for their aggressive history, told The Sun.

Rescuers arrived to find the savage animals still attacking the mother. Two of the dogs had to be shot in order to reach Patricia, with one killed and the other injured. Despite their efforts, Patricia was found lying in a pool of blood, having sustained deep and deadly wounds across her body. She was rushed to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital, but her injuries proved fatal.

Originally from Nigeria, Patricia had been working as a barista in the area. Her sudden and violent death left the local community in shock. Authorities launched an immediate investigation, locating the owner of the dangerous animals.

The dogs were reportedly malnourished, unregistered, and lacked microchips. Investigators revealed the animals had a troubling history, including an attack on their owner and his girlfriend just a week prior. The tragedy highlighted the potential risks of keeping aggressive, unmonitored animals in unsuitable conditions.

An autopsy has been ordered to confirm Patricia’s exact cause of death as the investigation continues. The young mother leaves behind grieving siblings who also reside in the area.
