David Harbour Spotted With Mystery Woman in NYC on Valentine’s Day
David Harbour was spotted taking a low-key Valentine’s Day walk through New York City with a mystery woman, while many of his Stranger Things co-stars were gathered just blocks away for a wedding celebration.
The 50-year-old actor appeared relaxed as he strolled alongside the unidentified companion, who was described as a redhead wearing a baseball cap and a heavy coat. Harbour opted for an olive green pea coat, casual pants, and a blue ball cap as the pair walked through the city on a day typically associated with romance.
According to TMZ’s report, the sighting came as several members of the Stranger Things cast were attending the Valentine’s Day wedding of Maya Hawke, who married singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Manhattan. Hawke’s parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, were present, along with many of her longtime co-stars.

Among those seen celebrating the nuptials were Finn Wolfhard, Joe Keery, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, and Natalie Dyer, as well as actors Sam Nivola and Kathryn Newton. While the cast gathered for the wedding festivities, Harbour spent the day away from the event, prompting curiosity about his own personal life.
Harbour is currently going through divorce proceedings with his ex-wife, Lily Allen. The couple married in 2020 and split in 2025 after four years together. Their separation became public last February, around the same time Allen revealed she had checked into a treatment center for what she described as “emotional turmoil.”
Allen, who was previously married to Sam Cooper and shares two daughters with him, has also addressed the breakup through her music. On the song “Madeline,” she sang about Harbour breaking boundaries in their “open” marriage. In her album West End Girl, she further implied that her ex is a “sex addict” and suggested infidelity during their relationship.

In the months following the split, speculation surfaced that Harbour may have had an affair with costume designer Natalie Tippett, though neither party publicly confirmed the rumors. Harbour’s name has also been tied to controversy on set.
Last year, reports emerged that he was accused of bullying and harassing Millie Bobby Brown during the production of Stranger Things. Brown, who also stars in the Enola Holmes films, reportedly filed a complaint prior to filming the show’s fifth and final season. An internal investigation was said to have taken place, though its outcome was never made public.
In the series, Harbour plays Jim Hopper Jr., the police chief who becomes a father figure to Brown’s character, Eleven. He has previously spoken about feeling protective of her due to their long history. “Millie and I have always had sort of a special relationship because I knew her when she was so young. I knew her before any of this.
