Danny Jones’ Wife Georgia Horsley Calls Herself a ‘Broken Woman’ Amid House Move and Jungle Adventure
Georgia Horsley, wife of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! contestant Danny Jones, has opened up about her emotional struggles while managing a house move alone. Taking to Instagram Stories, the former Miss England shared her tearful update as she tackled the challenges of moving house without her McFly star husband, who is currently filming the ITV reality show in the Australian jungle.
“Hello, just an update because it seems a bit weird that I’ve not been posting. I have been moving house,” Georgia began, reported by Leeds Lives. “We have moved house whilst Danny is in the jungle, and I have done it on my own, and I am a broken woman, to say the least.”
Georgia expressed gratitude to her support system during the difficult time, praising the efforts of Danny’s personal assistant Carly, as well as her friends and family. “My friends, my mum, my dad have just been flipping incredible. I’ve got a village, full-blown village,” she said.
Despite her emotional evening, Georgia also reflected on the bittersweet move. “I actually didn’t want to move from the house we lived in. I loved it there, but we do it for the kids, right?”
Switching gears, Georgia shared her thoughts on Danny’s performance in the jungle. “He’s doing really well, isn’t he? I think he’s just very hungry and tired at the moment, and I also think he’s a bit bored. So I think we probably need to vote him in for some more trials, potentially”, according to the Express.
Addressing the voting process, Georgia reassured fans that voting for trials doesn’t necessarily reflect dislike. “I did warn him beforehand, just so you know, people might vote you in just because they want to watch you on telly rather than the fact that they just don’t like you,” she explained. “But let’s vote him in, let’s get him voted in!”
Georgia and Danny tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in North Yorkshire in 2014 and welcomed their son, Cooper, in 2018. While Georgia navigates the challenges back home, fans continue to cheer Danny on in the jungle, where his humor and resilience have made him a standout contestant.
Georgia’s candid update highlighted the pressures of managing life at home while supporting her husband’s jungle adventure, drawing admiration from fans for her honesty and strength.
