Charlotte Chilton Introduces Newborn Daughter Penelope and Shares Heartwarming Nursery Details

Charlotte Chilton, known for her standout role in the second series of The Traitors, has introduced her newborn daughter, Penelope, to the world. In an exclusive interview, Charlotte also gave fans a sneak peek into the little one’s nursery, showing off the cozy and lovingly curated space she has created for her daughter, reports OK!.

Penelope’s father, singer Conor Maynard, has been publicly named by Charlotte as the father, though she claims that he is not involved in her life or raising the baby. Currently living with her parents in their spacious home in Warwickshire, Charlotte is saving to buy her own place. The nursery, which she’s put much thought and care into, features a charming mustard and pink color scheme with rainbow prints on the walls and adorable bunting hanging over the cot.

Charlotte shared that she had upcycled Penelope’s cot, calling the process a “labour of love,” as she worked to bring the second-hand item back to life. The room also showcases personalized wall art, including a floral sign bearing Penelope’s name, and is decorated with house plants, sunflowers on the windowsill, and family photos. The entire home, with its rustic lodge feel, is perfectly matched to the nursery, creating a warm, homely atmosphere.

In her interview with OK!, Charlotte opened up about her family’s evolving support since Penelope’s birth. “We went through a real ‘hate’ phase when I first got pregnant but we’re friends again now, and she’s been great,” she said about her relationship with her mother. Charlotte expressed her deep appreciation for her mother’s help, describing how her mum has taken on a fatherly role, assisting with tasks like sterilizing bottles, caring for the baby when Charlotte needs a break, and ensuring she eats dinner—a challenge with a newborn. Charlotte joked, “It’s the best diet in the world, looking after a newborn. The weight has come off me.”

While Charlotte finds comfort in the support of her close-knit family, she’s also embracing motherhood and balancing her new role with ambitious career plans. “I love it. We’re such a close family, it’s not like I’m ‘moving back in,’ it feels very grown-up and natural,” she explained. Charlotte is even starting her own recruitment business while continuing to make plans for her own home. “I’ve got a real village around me,” she added, reflecting on the pride and encouragement from those around her.
