King Charles’ Latest Move Hints at Harry and Meghan’s Royal Return

The possibility of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reuniting with the royal family in 2024 seems increasingly likely, following recent gestures by King Charles. The King’s decision to extend forgiveness to his brother, Prince Andrew, and Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson during the Christmas season, hints at a potential path of reconciliation for Harry and Meghan after a prolonged period of tension.

Royal commentator Richard Eden commented on the situation, noting that King Charles’ invitation to the Duke and Duchess of York indicates a possible route for Harry and Meghan’s return to the royal fold. Eden pointed out the difference in the situations, however, highlighting that unlike Harry and Meghan, Andrew and Sarah have consistently spoken positively about the Royal Family, never directly attacking it.

Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, titled “Spare,” and recent claims of ‘racist royals‘ by author Omid Scobie in his book “Endgame,” have kept the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the spotlight for controversial reasons in 2023. Scobie’s book, particularly its Dutch version, allegedly discloses the identities of senior royals involved in racist conversations about the couple’s son, Archie’s, skin color.

This controversy traces back to 2021 when Meghan disclosed her experiences of ill-treatment within the royal family during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. Since these revelations, there have been suggestions for Harry and Meghan to issue a public apology as a way to mend ties with the Royal Family and their home country.
