Carrie Johnson Shares Rare Family Moments as Boris Basks in Texas Heat
Carrie Johnson has given fans a rare and heartwarming peek into her family life with Boris and their three kids during a sun-soaked Easter holiday in Texas — and it turns out their sons have inherited dad’s iconic messy mop of hair.
Carrie posted a string of gorgeous snaps showing Wilf, Frankie, and little Romy enjoying every moment of their three-week break. From lakeside swims to dino-themed parks and mini-golf, the kids looked like they were living their best lives — and their wild, curly hairstyles made them even more recognisable as Boris’s little ones.
In one especially sweet photo, Frankie and Romy can be seen cuddled up in the back of a trolley, their arms wrapped around each other and their curly hair blowing in the breeze. Fans couldn’t get enough of it. “The interaction between the children and animals is wonderful,” one person commented, while another wrote: “Love those cowboy boots! Such happy photos of your family.”
Carrie summed up the trip perfectly, writing: “Texas for 3 weeks has been magic. Even though Boris was here for work, we’ve managed to spend so much quality family time together exploring, swimming and having a hell of a lot of BBQs. Such a great place with the friendliest people.”
It’s clear the trip was a refreshing change of pace for the Johnson family, especially after Carrie had a rough patch earlier this year recovering from a nasty infection she picked up over Christmas. Now fully back on her feet, she’s resumed the family’s jet-setting adventures, and Texas was just the beginning.
Their getaway included everything from cuddling puppies to relaxing lake swims with both parents, plus a healthy dose of cowboy charm — boots included. Wilf’s signature blonde hair made him look like a mini version of his dad, while Romy added her own splash of colour with a pink, purple and yellow crochet bucket hat.
The Texas break wasn’t the only highlight — they also recently enjoyed a stunning trip to Saudi Arabia. Carrie shared shots of the kids walking hand in hand across glowing sand dunes, Boris doting on Frankie, dreamy sunsets, and of course, some delicious meals.
