Alex Jones Exposes The One Show’s Rudest Guest
Share0Alex Jones has identified a guest on The One Show whom she believed was “full of himself” during his 2022 appearance. The presenter reflected on her interactions with A-list celebrities while discussing her time on the BBC program, which she hosted alongside former co-host Jermaine Jenas.
Speaking on the Netmums podcast, Alex shared her experiences with various celebrity guests who had appeared on the show’s iconic green sofas. She explained, “You know, we’ve had people on that are big Hollywood stars. I mean, last week we had Robert De Niro and, he was lovely, but he was lovely afterwards.” The Welsh presenter then recalled an uncomfortable experience with Suicide Squad actor Jared Leto, who joined the show virtually from Las Vegas.
Alex remembered, “He was there in sort of dressed as one of the Three Musketeers and he had all this, like, I don’t know, Gucci, big shirt, sleeves billowing. I mean, he was so full of himself. “And I thought, no, no, no, no. Our audience are nice people and, they deserve better than this, reported the Express.
“You might be like a huge celebrity star and, you know, you’ve done all these films, but it doesn’t cost to be polite and nice. “Anybody who can’t bring those simple skills to the table, I’m out. I’m like, no, sorry, you’ve not been brought up well, then,” she added regarding the actor.
Viewers also expressed their disappointment with Jared’s interview, taking to social media to share their opinions. Many commented that they were “not impressed” with the exchange.
As the actor discussed his new Apple TV+ show, WeCrashed, fans found themselves distracted by his frilly blouse and overall attitude.
One viewer was confused and wrote, “I’m not sure if Jared was insulted or trying to chat up Alex.” Another remarked, “I can’t get over how bored Jared Leto looks on #TheOneShow.” A third viewer agreed, saying, “Jared was not impressed with their banter about his frilly shirt or white nail varnish #TheOneShow.”
