Adam Peaty’s Ex Shares Son’s Adorable Reaction to His Olympic Silver Medal
Adam Peaty’s ex-partner, Eirianedd Munro, took to her Instagram Stories to share their son George’s reaction to his father’s silver medal win at the Paris Olympics.
The sporting star shed “happy tears” after securing a silver medal for Team GB in the men’s 100 meters breaststroke final. Speaking to the press, Peaty said, “It’s broken me, this sport, but it’s also given me life.”
Eiri Munro shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, accompanied by a snap of their son George. She wrote: “Congratulations, Adam. George is so proud of you. He doesn’t see the worth of a medal, but the absolute strength and determination that got you it.” Her emotional post continued: “These are the qualities I pray he inherits. This moment will inspire him and drive him for the rest of his life. Thank you for giving him that.”
Peaty and Munro welcomed their son George in 2020 after meeting at Loughborough University. The couple later split in 2022.
Adam Peaty is now in a relationship with Holly Ramsay, Gordon Ramsay’s daughter, who watched his Olympic race and supported him throughout. After his race, Peaty told the BBC, “I’m so happy that I can race the fastest in the world and still come second. I’m not crying because I lost; these are happy tears because I said to myself I would give it everything I’ve got, and I have. And I can’t be upset about that.”
Following his race, Peaty shared an emotional embrace with Holly and George. Holly has been a steadfast supporter, cheering him on during the high-stakes races at the Paris Olympics 2024. The couple, who went Instagram official in June last year, have been inseparable, with Holly showing her affection through thoughtful gestures like painting her nails with his initials ‘AP’ and getting matching tattoos.
Holly posted a heartfelt tribute to Adam on Instagram: “It has been an absolute privilege to have watched you this last year. Your determination and dedication are unmatched. Hours of training, team meetings, gym, physio, and still you have been the best father to George and the best partner to me. Watching so many training sessions and hosting team breakfasts has made me so thankful to be a part of your world.”

Before his relationship with Holly, Peaty had a serious relationship with Eiri, the mother of his son George. After their breakup, Peaty admitted that he “let her down,” but it is clear that they both continue to support each other as co-parents to George.
