Kate Middleton’s emotional phone call after tragic loss

There is a series of phone calls in which the discussion is part by part where Kate is a word from the concern of the project. after she sent an image of her grandparents Pat and Ron Wood for the National Portrait Gallery’s Hold Still photograph exhibit so the Duchess of Cambridge spoke to Hayley Evans over the phone.

From the past fall, some calls associated with the Duchess speak to a number of the 100 finalists who shared their realities of life during the first COVID-19 lockdown in the UK by submitting an image to Hold Still.

Kate said to Hayley that: “I wanted to say a huge thank you to you for sending in the wonderful, very moving photograph of your grandparents,”. she added more to talk: “I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m hugely grateful for you sending in such a personal photograph,”.

From the image, we can see the embracement of each other in their hospital beds a heartbreaking scene that the Duchess described as “so moving”, as the two passed away just days within each other.

“That’s what I think is so lovely, is hearing people’s stories, and the things that have resonated for them.” Then Kate stated that: “I think things like that shouldn’t be taken for granted, particularly, you know, in the last few days of life,”. Also, Hayley added: “Although it’s a sad photo, it’s also so happy as well. When I look at it, I feel really sad, but I also think, I feel joyful, you know?”
