Police seek public help to find missing Maidstone teen last seen at train station
Police are asking for urgent help to find a missing teenager who was last seen late at night at a busy train station in Kent and may have traveled to London.
Maisie Cornish, who is 14 years old, was last seen at Maidstone train station at around 11 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Officers believe she may have caught a train heading toward London after she was spotted at the station.
Maisie is described as around 5ft 1in tall, with straight blonde hair and blue eyes. At the time she was last seen, she was thought to have been wearing a grey tracksuit, a black bodywarmer, and light brown New Balance trainers.
Kent Police have issued a public appeal, urging anyone who may have seen Maisie or has information about her movements to get in touch as soon as possible. Officers say time is critical in missing person cases, especially when a young person may have traveled outside their local area.

Officers are asking members of the public to think carefully about whether they were at or near Maidstone train station late Tuesday night or traveled through nearby rail lines and may have noticed a young girl matching Maisie’s description. They are also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen her on public transport, at stations along the route, or in London after she was last seen.
Police have not released details about why Maisie went missing or where she may have been heading, but say all possibilities are being considered as they work to locate her. Searches are ongoing, and officers are continuing to review CCTV footage and follow up on potential sightings.
Missing teenager appeals often rely heavily on information from the public, particularly when travel by train is involved. Police say even small details that might seem insignificant could help build a clearer picture of Maisie’s movements and lead to her being found safely.
Anyone who has seen Maisie Cornish, knows where she might be, or has any information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact Kent Police immediately. Officers stress that prompt information could make a crucial difference in ensuring her safe return.
Police continue to appeal for the public to remain alert and to share information responsibly, while keeping Maisie and her family in mind as the search continues.
