“Headed for divorce,” Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley split after nine years of marriage
Bronwyn Newport and her husband, Todd Bradley, have officially gone their separate ways after nearly a decade together. Page Six has confirmed that the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star, 40, and the tech executive, 67, are no longer together following nine years of marriage.
According to multiple well-placed sources, the couple’s separation appears to be leading toward divorce. One insider described the situation by saying the two are “headed for divorce,” while another echoed that they are “looking at a divorce.” Both sources agreed that the decision to end the marriage was driven by Newport, who reportedly wants out of the relationship.
Representatives for Newport and Bradley did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Earlier in the day, Radar Online reported that Newport shared news of the separation during the taping of the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 6 reunion, which took place last week in New York City. A source present at the taping said the announcement did not come as a shock to those familiar with the couple’s dynamic.
“This shouldn’t come as any surprise, though,” the source said, claiming Newport “is disgusted by what she’s been seeing on TV” regarding Bradley’s behavior toward her. The source added that “He’s coming off badly,” and stressed that the breakup “is truly not shocking.”
Viewers of the Bravo series have witnessed a number of uncomfortable moments between Newport and Bradley since she joined the cast in Season 5. Bradley has made it clear on camera that he does not want to be involved with the show, a stance that has contributed to visible tension between the pair.
During Season 5, Newport opened up to her co-stars about a particularly painful chapter in their marriage, revealing that Bradley had once been involved in an emotional affair. She described that period as a “very low low” in their relationship. According to Newport, Bradley attempted to make amends by gifting her a five-diamond ring, with each diamond symbolizing a promise he had not made when they married in September 2016.
Season 6 has brought additional strain into the spotlight. Castmate Lisa Barlow alleged that she had heard Bradley make out with one of her friends and was “farting the entire time.” While the rumor reportedly infuriated Newport, Bradley dismissed the claim as “gossip and nonsense.”
Newport and Bradley do not share children together. Newport is the mother of a 19-year-old daughter, Gwen, from a previous relationship, while Bradley has two adult sons from his first marriage. Newport has previously stated that the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement, a detail that could become significant if the separation moves forward as expected.
