Royal expert weighs in on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘trouble in paradise’

A royal expert has recently offered insight into why Prince Harry has been making solo public appearances in both the UK and the US, without his wife, Meghan Markle. The Duke of Sussex’s independent engagements have sparked speculation, particularly after his recent visits to New York and London, leading some to wonder about the dynamics of the couple’s relationship.

Former Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie suggested that Meghan’s absence might indicate a deeper reason, saying, “All I would say is she [Meghan] clearly doesn’t want to be here.” MacKenzie pointed out that Meghan’s noticeable lack of presence could reflect a broader public sentiment. “Actually, funnily enough, the people in this country don’t want her here. I think they’d probably like to see Harry’s children,” he said during an interview on GB News.

MacKenzie’s comments have reignited questions about Meghan’s role in Prince Harry’s life as he continues to take on royal duties and philanthropic work on his own. Speculation about “trouble in paradise” has emerged, but insiders suggest the couple’s solo ventures are part of a larger strategy.

Sources close to the Duke and Duchess confirmed that Harry and Meghan are intentionally pursuing individual projects while remaining united in their joint efforts through their Archewell Foundation. While Harry focuses on his patronages and charity work, Meghan is reportedly dedicating time to her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

“Harry and Meghan have consistently pursued solo ventures in connection with their individual interests, but remain deeply committed to their joint efforts through Archewell,” an insider told Hello! magazine. “Together, they have exciting projects in the pipeline, all driving forward their shared mission for positive global impact.”

Despite Meghan’s absence from Harry’s recent appearances, there doesn’t seem to be any sign of tension between the two. Their long-term goals appear to involve a balance between individual passions and collective endeavors, suggesting that both are working to carve out separate spaces while still collaborating on their shared vision.

As Prince Harry continues his public engagements, attention remains on what the future holds for both him and Meghan as they navigate their roles beyond royal duties, each pursuing projects that align with their unique interests.
