Queen Elizabeth II’s Health Revealed in Upcoming Memoir: Diagnosed with Bone Cancer

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has made a surprising revelation about Queen Elizabeth II’s health in his upcoming memoir, “Unleashed.” Johnson claims that the beloved monarch was diagnosed with bone cancer in the final years of her life, shedding new light on her last days before her passing in 2022.

Although the official cause of the queen’s death was listed as “old age,” Johnson’s memoir suggests otherwise. In an excerpt obtained by the Daily Mail, Johnson shared, “I had known for a year or more that she had a form of bone cancer, and her doctors were worried that at any time she could enter a sharp decline.”

Reflecting on his last encounter with Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral Castle in September 2022, just days before her death, Johnson described her as “pale and more stooped, with dark bruising on her hands and wrists, probably from drips or injections.” Despite her physical decline, he emphasized, “Her mind – as Edward [her private secretary] had also said – was completely unimpaired by her illness, and from time to time in our conversation she still flashed that great white smile in its sudden mood-lifting beauty.”

According to Johnson, the queen “had known all summer that she was going” but remained determined to fulfill her final duty of overseeing the peaceful transition of power to his successor, Liz Truss. During their meeting, Johnson officially resigned from his role as Prime Minister, marking the end of his time under her 70-year reign. The queen left him with one final piece of advice: “There’s no point in bitterness.” Johnson reflected on her words, saying, “If everyone in politics – and life – could see that as clearly as she did, the world would be a much, much happier place.”

This is not the first time rumors of the queen’s cancer have surfaced. Royal author Gyles Brandreth mentioned similar speculation in his book, Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait, published in December 2022. He suggested that Queen Elizabeth may have had myeloma, a rare form of bone marrow cancer, which could explain her tiredness, weight loss, and mobility issues in the last year of her life.

Despite these claims, Buckingham Palace has never confirmed any detailed medical information. Queen Elizabeth II passed away just two days after her final meeting with Johnson at the age of 96, and her legacy continues to resonate, with King Charles III now on the throne.
